I'm searching for a multiplayer FPS on PC. I've tried CS:GO, Insurgency, and Overwatch, but they can get repetitive. I enjoyed Battlefield, which blended different styles, but I'm unsure if the Ultimate Edition pack is worth the investment.

Try Warsow. It's free but not very well-known. A few players still enjoy L4D.

I've noticed some friends who weren't fans of Overwatch are now really into Rainbow Six Siege. It offers a very strategic FPS experience with lots of planning and tactics—perfect if you enjoy that kind of game. You might want to give it a shot or check out some streams. I also suggest Natural Selection 2: though a bit old, it has a tense gameplay style. For newer titles, consider the latest Doom, SW Battlefront, or Titanfall 2—they look good. I haven't played them yet, but they seem interesting. Occasionally, I've tried free or budget versions on Steam for a few hours, like Fractured Space (space shooter), Hawken (mech shooter), and Robocraft (LEGO-style FPS). It's hard to say how much they've changed, as updates can be significant.

Battlefield 4 is great, but if you enjoy Battlefront, BF1 is also worth checking out.
