Hey there, I’m looking at a Ryzen 9 3900X running on an ATX MSI Mag B550 TOMAHAWK board with DDR4 RAM. The PCIe lanes are shared between the third GPU slot and the secondary M.2 slot, which means I can’t install a second GPU without taking out the M.2 drive—it blocks the third slot. The RTX 3060 is too bulky for the second slot either. I’m trying to find a board that doesn’t have these shared lanes, allowing two GPUs and keeping the second M.2 slot available. I need something affordable since budget matters. Also, I use Daz Studio and plan to run my slightly older GPU for rendering as well. I’m thinking about upgrading later, but right now saving on the current setup makes sense. Thanks for any advice!
