Hello everyone, I’m planning to purchase an i7 9700K and need a new motherboard because my current one doesn’t support the latest CPU models. There are so many choices and price ranges that it’s hard to decide where to start. Here’s what I’m looking for: case: Phantek P300A Mesh Edition, ATX form factor, 4 fan headers, plus a single CPU fan header—no need for water cooling. I plan to use an RGB setup later, and my GPU is a ROG Strix RTX2070S. I have one M.2 2280 storage with X4 PCIe x4, two 8GB SSDs, and Corsair LXVengeance 3200MHz RAM. My PSU is 730W with 80+ Bronze Raid. I’m struggling to find a motherboard that fits these specs. Right now I have two fan headers plus one CPU fan, but I’d like everything on the same board instead of connecting fans directly to the PSU. Can you recommend something with enough DRM phase support for my fans? Thanks!

Avoid purchasing an Intel processor; the 3700X offers superior performance. For fan headers, opt for a fan hub instead.

Thanks, but I’m still keen on the Intel CPU because the benchmark shows better performance, and my main goal is gaming—not multitasking.

I picked the Gigabyte AORUS ULTRA for my future i9 9900k because it meets all my requirements—four fan headers and a great design for its price. The Asrock Taichi Ultimate was a solid alternative, but I’m grateful to everyone who helped. Thank you all!
