I created a custom setup for testing Minecraft. The hardware includes a no-name Chinese x99 MATX motherboard, a 256GB M.2 nVME storage, 16GB DDR4 2133 RAM (likely), ECC RAM, an AMD FirePro W7000, and a 27-inch 4K Asus monitor running Windows 9. I downloaded and installed Java Minecraft, verified it worked, then added Optifine and a Sildur shader pack. Everything functioned normally until I adjusted graphics settings. One setting was raising the GPU temperature to 80°C. Based on your advice, which settings are most likely causing this issue? I’m looking to revert those changes and bring temperatures back within normal range without a step-by-step trial.

I can't take a screenshot directly. However, you can view your settings by opening the relevant application and checking the menu or settings icon. Let me know if you need help finding them!

80C is easily achievable, and most cards—whether consumer or workstation—will reach those temperatures unless they’re running on a noisy fan setup or an impractical cooler.

Sure, I'll wait a moment before posting. Thank you for the details—I wasn't sure if the card performed better under heavy loads since I stopped at that stage. The W7000 is a single-width, single fan cooler, so I wasn't certain how well it handled heavy usage.

You can also start the game without optifine, though a good approach is to slightly reduce your anti-aliasing settings and disable fog as well. Gradually adjust until you locate the problem. Also, consider checking the shaders—some users report success with them even when optifine is enabled.

The setup doesn't need the Curse mod. You can use OptiFine and Sildur without any problems.

The mipmap levels are quite demanding and don’t render well. Otherwise it seems okay to me. I’ve tried those shaders, but they’re quite resource-heavy on the GPU.

It's unclear what you're referring to, could you provide more details? I need to understand the context to suggest the correct setting.
