Hello! I have a HP ProBook 450 G2 and an Asus K401U. I’m looking to upgrade the RAM and need recommendations. Could you suggest suitable mid-range RAM options that fit these laptops? Also, please let me know the brand so I can avoid high prices. Thank you!

Not every laptop supports RAM upgrades. These two models are compatible. What’s their current capacity? How many slots exist? Use CPU-Z to check speed and timing details. If upgrades are feasible, you can purchase a match. The manufacturer isn’t crucial beyond choosing trusted brands like Corsair, G.Skill, or Kingston. Usually, this process is straightforward when possible.

Download CPU-Z to get details about your RAM speed and timings. Capture a screenshot of the memory and performance tabs if you wish. If your RAM isn’t soldered, you can open the laptop, locate the RAM module, and check the label on it. You’ll need to know how to open the case, which often has video guides for various models.
