I don't think that is the case. From what I understand levels aren't even much of a thing in destiny 2 at this point and it's all about gear level. There is alot of gated content behind paywalls but you can still play strikes and other content that would probably fit some of the criteria for what you want. You might just want to check it out as again it's free so worst case scenario you play it and drop it.

Far cry 5, new dawn, and 6 are laid-back. They let you save anywhere on the map except during missions. I finished the original about a year ago and just started new dawn. In between, I played AC Origins, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and some NFS content? Not too bad, it was still pretty chill. It’s a casual racing game. I’m in the same spot as you with your kids—playing only once a week when things are good. I tried to get Witcher 3 again with all the updates, but honestly, I can’t beat the first mission. The story is heavy, and I’m struggling to remember names. Forget it.

Current Dark Zone and Conflict PvP feel the most off-balance and poorly governed. Stick to PvE instead.

It's a fast-paced experience with quick rounds, letting you enter and exit easily. It combines elements of Unreal Tournament and Portal into one.
