Oh well, how are you thinking about making a free game then? Maybe you can find it elsewhere and get a DVD. But now that you mention it, I'm not sure if it will work offline. You could also try getting a copy at Skidrow for Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege 2, or Van Helsing for the display.

You can purchase, save and move it into that system using an external HDD or similar. It supports offline play on Steam. POE is an online-only game.

I can burn the game to a disc from another system and then install it. The key is that the systems being auctioned currently lack network or internet access, meaning services like Steam won't function, whether online or offline. You'll still need to create an account to access Steam, and these items are being sold for charity...

Alternatively, you can purchase the game directly from GOG.

Well not if you consider there are other titles that, after installation, can be moved to different systems without needing Steam installed… But that was something I thought about later.

Have you checked out what GOG.com provides? I'm away right now but can do a brief search.

I can provide you with your Diablo 2 and LoD key. It is linked to my Battlenet account, though it won't affect offline play.

They have been suggested and when I get home, I'll take a look at those. Thank you. That's really thoughtful; I might message you later if I follow that path.

According to IIRC, GOG offers Torchlight and provides all content without DRM.

just to confirm, do you recall a group-based ARPG with a dungeon siege feel but across a vast world with multiple continents? it wasn’t exactly the same, but it sounded familiar from playing Torchlight. I’ve been looking for that title’s name ever since.
