Or really inexpensive (around 5$ or less), I have three modest systems from the C2D era coming up for auction soon (proceeds will go to charity). I’d also like a playable demo or game that people could try to test the system’s performance. The venue they’ll be shown at doesn’t have internet access, so I need something that works without Steam/Origin/Battle.Net or similar services. While I was considering Torchlight because it looks nice and runs well on low-end hardware, I’m open to other options... Video cards in these models range from GT 8600 to Quadro K2000, which is quite modest.

i mean if they have cd drives to read games, pick up a range of old titles, install them, and maybe add them along with the pc's.
it provides more options for the games you can let the demos include and could possibly boost the auction price by a few dollars.

Sure, I need to locate those old titles...I haven't had a chance to see a CD-ROM game available recently.
Remember when we talked about this?
And can I get it for less than $5?

I won't be involved with "free" items for a charity...
I'll purchase an authentic version instead.

There is a free style game something with empires i believe or mortal.. anyway if you have an old system you might want to take a look at dungeon siege 2, titan quest or van helsing are also pretty dope
there is currently a steam sale going on so you might want to check that out. Else you might want to take a look over at hrk gaming for instance… they offer a lot of deals for under 5 euro's
