Looking for a CPU upgrade?
Hello! I'm not sure if the CPU is soldered to the motherboard, but I can try to help you figure it out. Regarding your question about the GPU, that would be the graphics card, which is separate from the CPU. Let me know if you need more details!
Unfortunately, upgrading a CPU that’s soldered to the motherboard isn’t common. To boost your laptop’s speed, consider adding more RAM and switching to a solid-state drive for faster storage.
The initial change I’d make is adding a SATA SSD. You won’t see the benefits of NVMe immediately.
I believe it’s a good idea. 800 MHz isn’t very fast, but adding the extra 4GB could really help. See if you can push beyond 2000MHz with your new 16GB device—maybe that would bring even better performance.
Choosing a SATA SSD would likely have a greater impact than adding 16GB of RAM.
Yeah you re right I misspoke. I ve already installed a SSD and It does make a bigger difference! Although when I use heavy programs such as AutoCAD there Is some lag. If i double the RAM upgradin to 16 gb 3200 MHz could It possibly be the solution? Thank you for your help. You all are the best! PS: Sorry for the english
