I own an RX 570 with 4GB RAM. I use a 1080p monitor at 75Hz. After two years I plan to upgrade to 1440p at 144Hz. With $170 I want to buy a new graphics card and CPU that should handle 1080p at 60fps for games like Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk for about two years. For my budget there are two CPU choices: Ryzen 3 3100 or Ryzen 5 1600. Is the MSI B450M PRO M2 motherboard suitable for this setup? According to AMD, if it supports the 4th generation Ryzen, it will be beneficial in the future.

i recommend 3300x, its insanely good CPU for slight incrase in price, all cores are on same CCX, whic provide much stable and smoother gameplay cuz of no latency between CCX, cuz theres only one CCX, its literally on par with r5 3600 6c12t CPU

It's understandable, but the cost is high. 3300x offers great performance. I just want 60fps at 1080p on my RX 570.

The Pro4 performs significantly better. Its BIOS includes real VRM cooling fins. The MSI B450 Pro M2 falls short.

No official release has been announced yet. AMD mentioned they would provide a BIOS update for the B450 series. I purchased an MSI Pro M2 Max since it fits my budget and is affordable.

It's inexpensive mainly because of poor quality. The VRMs aren't well-designed and lack proper cooling. The MSI Pro M2 can't run Zen 3 since it can't handle more than a basic six-core processor.
