I’m a simple person needing a memory boost but staying within a budget. If you know any decent, affordable RAM around $20 to $30—preferably not from eBay—could be helpful. Thanks! Edit: A 2x4GB is ideal, though one stick works too. Updated Dec 28, 2020 by Garfieldthe cat

Most makers aren't producing DDR3 these days, so consider the second-hand market for affordable options.
