I was leaning toward Aorus Elite but I believe it would be wise to include LEDs indicating issues. It's been a while since I assembled a PC, so having that feature would be great. I'm struggling to find something without Wi-Fi or wireless components and with debug LEDs. Anyone has suggestions? Also, I plan to add a Noctua dh15, so the design needs to fit. The case should be an Define R6.

Looking for a top-tier board without extra bells and whistles? Choosing a D15 might not be ideal unless you're planning to overclock. A lot of this seems out of place.

Wireless isn't an option since I don't prefer noise.

Most premium boards include wireless options since adding a standard gigabit adapter isn't cheap relative to the board's cost. You can purchase a wireless board but won't be able to connect its antennas. NHD15 compatibility depends on RAM height and case space, not the motherboard itself. If your RAM is limited and the cooler fits comfortably, any motherboard should suffice. Running NH-D15 with 3950x without overclocking is acceptable for better sound quality, but keep in mind that adjusting RAM timings is crucial. If you're looking for a simple solution without top performance, check out this video for tips.

You can enjoy the Crosshair VII Hero without Wi-Fi. It runs smoothly on the X470 platform. No chipset concerns—handles my 3950X effortlessly. You can switch off almost every LED, even the board lights. The display turns on only when necessary.

I’m sticking to this build for about ten years, just like I did with my Q6600. I’ll replace the GPU in five years or so, once it starts limiting performance for next-gen VR racing. My plan is to get a new GPU then, and I’m considering the G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC. This model is quite similar to the AORUS Elite, it doesn’t have a Wi-Fi version, and it includes debug LEDs. It seems like the best fit so far.

This product appears to be a solid choice based on the description. It matches the Aorus Elite in functionality and includes troubleshoot LEDs, which is a positive feature.

The only motherboards that can't boost Ryzen performance are the A320 models, and none of them come with a 3950X recommendation. You'll always have the choice to go with another option.

Check the motherboard's debug LEDs on your TUF GAMING X570 PLUS. They’re usually located near the CPU or power supply area. The speaker can help you identify them. Each beep pattern often indicates a specific issue, so you can use the codes to troubleshoot.
