You have the price and details here. It looks like a solid option for stable high CPU speeds, perfect for gaming at 1440p and occasional 4K on your TV. Your budget fits well within that range—around $250 to $290 should work nicely if you find a great deal. Let me know if you need help picking the right model!

You should consider purchasing that specific board, but what makes you interested in it?

It features a minimal VRM, which is essential for achieving consistent high CPU performance.

What do you mean by "low" VRM? If that's all you need, just get that specific board.

Prime LGA1700 models struggle with poor VRM heat control, especially when MCE is off. The best performance would likely come from a higher-end CPU. Where did you buy this?

That's a strong option, but also explore their UD and Gaming X lines. They offer a more manageable price point and should comfortably support 13900K without power constraints. However, if gaming is your main focus, consider going for 13700 or even 13600 instead. On AMD, within the same budget, look at the 7800X3D.

Check the specs carefully. The Z790-UD-AX rev-1x uses 10DDR4 memory, which is different from older models. Whether your i9 reaches maximum performance depends on many factors like cooling, BIOS updates, and system configuration—not just the memory type.

That's exactly what I meant. It needs to manage the load within the full power limit.
