Your internet service provider installed the wiring yourself using premium connectors and cables. It’s quite impressive! You could place the router close to the main hub and run those high-quality optical lines.

I also have a personal line with a top-notch ISP. That sounds like a solid plan—I hadn’t considered it before. I’ll relocate the router to the server room, and since my Wi-Fi configuration is quite advanced, there should be no issues.

It might be the more affordable choice. I’d prefer to move to your ISP instead! My home could benefit from a wiring upgrade, actually. I got it about a year ago and they installed mostly CAT5e in all the connections except the basement where I spend most of my time computing. I requested that during the purchase agreement because the CAT5e drops were already in place.
