I don't understand much. I have around 200 mods on my Skyrim LE install and rarely... if ever, have a CTD. I can't recall the last time I crashed. I just let LOOT handle the order each time I add something, and I read the install guide on the mod page. But usually LOOT works well. I have ordinator installed and never had any problems with it or Dragonborn. I only have one weather mod, which is "real thunder." That said, the first 20 or so mods are various bug fixes and adjustments.

For me it didn't seem important; I could play LE with mods that needed SE. It didn't matter for the CTD issue either, because Ordinator worked on both. I've always seen SE and LE as the same, since I never noticed any difference. I could always run the same mods regardless of the situation.

I mean... this might be your problem. LE and SE manage memory quite differently. Even if it doesn't crash at startup, once an SE mod attempts to write to a memory location that doesn't exist (due to LE), it will cause a crash.
Regardelss, good luck. Try LOOT. Try the crash fixes mod, etc.
