Long delay and visual artifacts on screen
Long delay and visual artifacts on screen
Hello, I'm sharing this on a couple of forums in hopes of finding a solution. I've experienced this problem for almost eight months now. When moving my mouse in games, I notice strange ghosting or screen tearing effects that are really unsettling. It also appears blurry when adjusting the camera angle, especially in FPS titles. The issue pops up during fast movements, scrolling, or even while playing video content.
I've tried several fixes: updated cables and monitors, updated drivers, changed GPU and OS, used different software like V-Sync, adjusted frame rate caps, swapped out the mouse, and even considered new RAM. I've also looked into using an IGPU and disabled it for testing.
However, none of these steps have resolved the problem consistently. My local tech shops are puzzled by what could be causing this. I was considering a new graphics card to see if it might be the culprit, but I'd appreciate any advice or insights you can offer.
Additionally, someone suggested checking my RAM, and I've seen examples of what this looks like during fast camera movement in games or YouTube clips. It often shows as tearing or strange visuals, sometimes with a "test" indicator appearing.
Please let me know if you have any further information that could help. I'm open to suggestions and would value your input.
The integrated graphics are not enabled by default in the BIOS. The resizable bar is active when using 4G decoding; if it's already on, you can disable it. You may adjust monitor response times via settings and switch the variable refresh rate in Windows settings if applicable.
