Hey everyone, I just upgraded my workstation to a 5950x and am encountering some odd data readings. When I open HWinfo and start logging at boot, I see unusually high temperatures even though the CCD/die temperatures are generally stable. The CPU reaches about 85°C during full load (210-230W), which is normal before it throttles down. Under load voltage stays steady around 1.28-1.32V, and both CCDs perform similarly when fully loaded. However, I’ve noticed some bizarre MAX values—CCD1 and 2 hit 204.9°C, while IOD reaches 462.9°C. It’s like a thermalright nightmare, but my case has a coolermaster haf500 with all fans running for good airflow. The motherboard shows the core max at 87°C. What’s going on? Should I just overlook these numbers? Is there a serious issue here? I’m using PBO with offsets disabled and have a power limiter set around 225W that works well. It’s my first AMD system since the Athlon II x4 era.
