It seems like this would follow a comparable path to version 8.1, though I haven't used Windows or Mint for a while, so I rarely encounter the Windows boot icon. I usually only see Mint during boot.

It displays the boot logo only in UEFI mode, similar to version 8.1. Your system likely doesn’t have that feature.
