I've noticed a problem with this mouse over time. When my PC powers down or hibernates, everything functions normally—mouse turns off its RGB after a short while and comes back to life when I move it. This helps preserve battery life. But if I shut down the PC, the mouse's RGB stays active, leaving the battery drained by morning. There don't seem to be many settings in g Hub that affect the lighting, so it probably isn't related. I can manually turn off the mouse, but it feels unusual since the PC works fine and my Logitech wireless keyboard also shuts down properly with the PC.
Avoid GHub completely and opt for Logitech’s OMM or Onboard Memory Manager tools to modify the mouse hardware.
GHub is helpful, but it was slow to learn how to adjust onboard memory profiles. I’ll share a video that clarifies the steps. The lighting adjustment process will be alike, even with a different mouse. I own a G502 HERO and found this tutorial very clear.
