I recently upgraded my PC and am having trouble getting the wheel to function properly. The Logitech G29 works just fine on another machine, but the force feedback isn’t responding and the centering spring is stuck. I’ve used both the Logitech gaming software and the G hub, but couldn’t get it to recognize the wheel. When I plugged it into my old PC, everything worked perfectly, even after copying all settings from LGS. I’ve reinstalled everything multiple times and tested every USB port, but nothing changed. My PC restarts frequently, yet the wheel still steers normally and all pedals/buttons respond correctly. It’s running Windows 11, and I’m looking for any advice.

Did you use Windows 10 or 11 prior to the upgrade? It seems Logitech drivers could have problems with version 11. Have you reached out to their support team?

Disconnect the wheel, remove G-HUB manually, clear the Logitech directory on C:\users\{name}\AppData, open Command Prompt, delete that folder in LOCAL MACHINE, restart, reinstall G-HUB, reconnect the wheel, then calibrate.

I managed to get my wheel somewhat functional. Now I can adjust the centering spring to a playable setting, though forcing it still doesn’t resolve the issue. I’m using the Logitech G hub software, but the only way to connect is by opening G Hub with the wheel plugged in, then navigating to Windows settings, finding the wheel under devices, removing it from the list, unplugging and replugging it, which lets the hub recognize it. I also tried reaching out to Logitech support, but they didn’t help much.

This noise seems similar to registry or driver issues. Make sure you eliminate any Logitech software before connecting your wheel, and allow Windows to reinstall the drivers.

You successfully completed the instructions, and both your FFB and LEDs are functioning properly in every game now.

Have you fixed this problem? I’ve dealt with it for six months now. After eighteen months, every time I play a racing game I’m stuck fixing things. It’s completely software-related. I really wish you had a lasting solution, otherwise I’ll discard my wheel at this point!
