Running Windows 11, the joystick is recognized by Windows 11 but not by STEAM. Tried various approaches, but it doesn’t detect the controller at all. Logitech hasn’t released new drivers for version 11, though the joystick and buttons function properly. I’m hesitant to buy another one without certainty about compatibility with STEAM. I plan to play flight sims like Il Sturmovik and Rise of Flight. Any recommendations?

Ensure your BIOS for the motherboard is up to date.
Assuming you've added Logitech's Gaming App;
https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articl...eme-3D-Pro
Could be missing. Install it in an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
If installation problems persist, try using compatibility mode: right-click the installer > Properties > Compatibility tab > select Windows 7/8 from the dropdown.

I attempted the Logitech download but got nothing. The issue seems to lie with STEAM itself. I recently updated my BIOS, which usually makes me anxious, so I doubt that’s the cause. Some other Steam users have the same problem, though a few have discovered workarounds; I tried all their suggestions without success. If STEAM recognized the controller, it might help. An X-box controller is seen and functions, but isn’t ideal for flying sims.
I think I’ll try a different joystick instead...
