Hey, I've faced similar problems after moving to an SSD instead of a HDD and couldn't access my Steam account. The password or username keeps showing as incorrect, even after resetting it. I cleaned the registry, turned off the firewall, and ran the app as admin, but nothing resolved the issue. It's been about two weeks since the change, and the server load from the holiday hasn't cleared it up. I also tried installing the client on my HDD, but that didn't help either.
Have you attempted to reinstall it elsewhere? Or perhaps visiting the Steam site could allow you to log in?
