You're excited about the patch release to uncover the issues it was meant to resolve, even though it might introduce new problems along the way!

It might be due to the fact that developers are updating the vanilla with CTE fixes.

Take it easy on Dice, I have to say the release of BF4 had some issues, and the game could have been much smoother. Still, they've been working hard to improve it. Give them a fair shot—your opinion might change once the version is out.

I appreciate it. If DICE/EA hadn't cared, they wouldn't have invested so much time in setting up CTE. They wouldn't have spent over two months rolling out updates—sometimes even daily. To be honest, they must have learned from this experience.

Did they really mean they didn’t care? You two need to step up your game. When a company keeps dropping low-quality updates, it hurts their reputation. It’s been ages since there were many issues left unresolved, especially since most of them were meant to be fixed in earlier updates. They’re given a chance to prove otherwise, but so far they’ve only kept making promises that break. Of course, fixing problems is possible, but right now it feels excessive. If this has been going on long enough, there should be very few major issues left. But they’re not. It’s people like you who settle for poor work, letting it slide. We shouldn’t let them get away with it. They should learn from their mistakes. The motto should be to avoid releasing buggy, incomplete, or even unusable software. I’ve spent over 200 hours on bf4. I’ve noticed more glitches and bugs in every new patch than I have in any other game I’ve played. Do I enjoy the game? Yes. But if they care about quality, they should take a break. If you think otherwise, you’re part of the problem. Hold them accountable—don’t buy it. Speak up and demand change or face the consequences. You, as consumers, have the power to stop this mess. But until you stop tolerating it, things will only get worse.

I'm a devoted player of the Battlefield series and will never hesitate to purchase a new game. I've accumulated 850 hours across all titles, and seeing Battlefield 4 improve from a rough start to one of the top entries in its class is really appreciated. Although the initial release had some issues, it's great that modern games are much more stable. Thanks!

At the start? What about a few hours back? Have you checked the forums for today’s issues? The game is almost impossible to play for many with decent hardware. My machine freezes at 120fps when running conquest, isn’t that too much after it’s been updated for over a year? They managed to resolve the rubberbanding about 95% of the time. The game works okay most of the time now, but still has plenty of bugs. Blacklight retribution was a free title with fewer problems; it felt even smoother in beta than Battlefield four was a few months ago. What does that suggest? You’re a loyal fan, I get it. But you really need to grasp how companies release flawed products—you buy them because you’re “loyal,” but you should be pushing for better. If you don’t, you’re just holding back developers who are trying their best with a product that’s been poorly executed. As I said, your loyalty keeps the issues stuck.

Could you simply let me go and leave me alone? I don’t need your opinions. Your thoughts don’t matter here. The internet isn’t a place for everyone’s views. I’m tired of this nonsense.
