I repeatedly attempt to access Steam but encounter warnings indicating connection issues with the servers. Despite following all instructions and receiving a gameguard code for a new PC, the problems persist. An email with a code was sent, but each login still triggers the same alerts. Note: I can log in using a browser now.

Confirm if it's being blocked by Windows' firewall. Have you attempted a reinstall?

I've already reinstalled it and tried to run the allow program via the firewall, but it's still not working. I'm connected using Wi-Fi.

Could this occur on other devices? Will it continue when linking your PC to a different network?

It works well on my old computer... I haven't tested other networks yet. Now I'm trying it since I have two modems at home.

I also tried a different network, and I’m able to log in properly. Then I switched back to the other network, and everything worked again... That’s a strange situation, but thanks for your help!

It seems there might be an issue with Windows or your router that prevented Steam from functioning properly. Changing the network could have cleared some settings.
