Hello, your MSI B450M-A Pro Max seems to have some issues—there’s no locking mechanism left and the plastic components are missing too. You can still run it with a fan, but you’ll need to ensure proper cooling and possibly replace the missing parts if you want full functionality. The lever is also absent, so you might need an alternative solution for power delivery. Let me know if you need help finding a compatible replacement.

If you couldn't complete the task alone, consider returning the item whenever you can.

This question isn't clear. Could you provide more details or clarify what you're asking about returning something?

It seems the blue socket isn't included here. I'd bring back the board. While it might work without it, the CPU could move around in the socket, leaving gaps where pins are exposed. It wouldn't be worth the trouble if you later remove the cooler.

You've just received it and are wondering about its functionality. Sending back and ordering a replacement may take up to 4 days.

Make sure to have that arm ready for installing the CPU. If you purchased the board from a previous order, there might be other issues involved. I wouldn't recommend using it and would suggest returning it.

If the socket appears in this form, consider other possibilities for the board. I strongly advise against using it.

I believe in what you're doing. Choosing wisely protects you more than falling for scams that hide bad gear. Waiting to justify or deal with mental strain later isn't worth it—better to label things clearly now. A good system will pay off eventually. It's just time.
