I’ve encountered a problem where my PC locks up unexpectedly and crashes after just 30 seconds. I’ve tested several fixes like resetting CMOS and changing storage slots, but the issue persists. After a restart, my BIOS fails to load and the postcode stays stuck at A0. I’m unsure if the problem lies with my CPU or motherboard. The secondary drive sometimes disconnects completely and only reconnects when I reboot through the system settings. It’s confusing and I’m worried it could be related to either component.

I searched for 'Asrock A0' error and the leading result hinted it might be linked to storage issues. Remove your secondary drive and check if the problem continues. If it resolves, switch your main storage device to the slot where the second one was placed, just to confirm the issue isn’t with that slot. For another PC, test by inserting the suspected SSD into its place. If none of these steps help, consider these options: 1. Restart everything in normal mode. No overclocking or advanced profiles. 2. Test a single RAM stick at a time, using different slots. 3. Ensure your BIOS is up to date—though proceed with caution. A frozen BIOS during an update can permanently damage your system unless you have a flashback feature. A strict BIOS lock may indicate hardware incompatibility or a deeper problem. These steps should help isolate the cause beyond CPU or memory issues.

I've tested almost everything and nothing has changed. The problem remains no matter the SSD, RAM placement, or amount of RAM.
