Hello! After switching my motherboard from an MSI to an ASUS TUF Gaming B550 Plus, I noticed the Bass management feature in Realteks audio panel is missing. It should have directed bass from other channels to the subwoofer when Speaker Fill was active. I checked Asus’ Realtek Audio Control app and Realtek HD Audio Manager, but they weren’t available. Without it, my surround sound feels flat, and even adjusting levels doesn’t bring in any audio to the subwoofer. I know the subwoofer does pick up sound when playing multichannel audio. I have all the latest BIOS and software updates, and I contacted Asus support who suggested trying equalization but said they don’t have that feature. I suspect it might be available in a different version or model. If you need help finding the right driver, let me know! Thanks ahead! Dj~
Hi, I also face the same issue with my ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-Plus D4. Have you found a solution? I bought this board because it includes an audio output for the subwoofer.
Apologies for the delayed response. I changed to a fully digital SPDIF connection instead of using three AUX inputs, and I adjusted all speaker settings on the receiver. This seems like the optimal choice now, as I switched to Linux recently and it doesn’t offer any tools for further surround corrections.
