Hi, I need to connect my iPad to my laptop using VNC for a secondary display. The setup works over WiFi on my local network, but I want it to function offline at school or elsewhere. I plan to use a USB cable (USB-C to Lightning) to link the iPad via a wired connection. For this, I need to configure a network interface on my laptop using USB so the iPad can join. Do you have any advice or resources for this? I’ve tried searching but haven’t found clear instructions. I’m using Fedora 36 with i3wm and an iPad 10.2 (2021).
