Hello!

This might appear a bit protracted and unusual for many of you experienced with technology, but I’ve endured a week of difficulty and am finally seeking guidance. My spouse and I live in a recreational vehicle, and we only have internet access through our mobile phone’s connection. Neither of us are interested in online gaming, and our nomadic lifestyle simply doesn't support it.

However, we both have a history with video games. We recently transitioned from console gaming to PC gaming and recall fondly how easy it used to be to connect with friends using wired internet. Unfortunately, this isn't possible now – I’ve discovered it can be quite challenging.

I’ve attempted numerous troubleshooting steps, including using ethernet cables, specialized USB adapters, manually configuring IP addresses, disabling antivirus and firewall software, and extensively searching online. I feel like a vital detail is escaping my attention.

We're aiming to enjoy games such as Ark, Age of Empires, and Minecraft. Since internet access is unavailable for us, I'm hoping you can offer some helpful suggestions. Thank you kindly.

The following information suggests that your Ark game is still experiencing issues, according to this Steam discussion: https://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/di...014925371/. A simple solution might involve utilizing an inexpensive network switch to connect both computers, allowing you to observe them simultaneously.

Lacking online access, your interactions will be limited to individuals connected to your local network. Furthermore, certain games necessitate an internet connection for cooperative gameplay, even when players are located in the same household. -Wolf sends
