Hello everyone, I’m using the Ghost version of Windows 11 after installing it. It now uses a local account instead of a Microsoft one. During installation I made an error and my system started using my Microsoft account again. I’ve tried several options but can’t find a way back to the local setup. Is there a solution to revert this? Or am I permanently tied to my Microsoft account? Thanks in advance!

I’m not familiar with Windows 11, but on Windows 10 this was available under Settings > Accounts. Is this feature removed for you? You might also check Netplwiz in the start menu to see if your local account is still active, which could let you boot from it instead of the Microsoft account.

Create a local account in standard Windows 11 Pro by choosing "Work" over "Home," then selecting "Join a domain" (even if not needed). Alternatively, connect your account and change it to a local account. In any case, navigate to Settings > Accounts > Your Info, find the "Account Settings" section, and you'll see the option: "Sign in with a local account instead."

You're having trouble locating the "Sign in with a local account instead" feature. The available choices seem to redirect you elsewhere—like to Spanish content or the MS Account management page. It appears the option you're looking for isn't clearly displayed, and clicking it might take you away from your current settings. Let me know if you'd like help navigating these options further.

Please confirm your account is active. Once verified, restart and you'll see the new option available.

Hi, I see you're having trouble with the login process. Once I confirmed your account and restarted, it kept showing "Administer my accounts" and then took you back to the Microsoft site. Could you clarify what you meant by that? It sounds confusing how to log in without logging out. Thanks for your patience!
