I recently assembled a new PC with these specifications: i5-12500 AORUS B660M pro, Corsair Vengeance Lpx series, 16GB DDR4 (8GBx2) at 3200MHz, WD black sn770 (Gen 4x4), MSI 1660 Super. Boot times are typically 15-16 seconds during startup and about 13 seconds on fast boot. After powering it up, the BIOS and splash screen dominate most of the time. Compared to my previous build with an i5-3570K, Gigabyte H77M-3D, Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 at 1600MHz, MSI 1660 Super, boot times were much faster—around 5-6 seconds. It's interesting to see if these newer components or the motherboard affect performance this way.
It's typical. Many recent system updates, particularly for the 12th generation, tend to cause slightly extended startup times. The majority of the initial loading occurs as Windows powers on, after which performance improves significantly.
yes ..after the bios splash green(mostly around 10-12 sec),windows only takes around 2-3 seconds max.. okay thanks for the update..
