Hello everyone, I just reset my PC and performed a fresh Windows installation. Now whenever I attempt to download games from Steam or Epic Games, my network gets overloaded. My speed tests before downloading show a normal 10 ping with no jitter, and download/upload speeds around 200 Mbps. However, during downloads the ping spikes up to 150 and jitter reaches 50, while upload speeds drop below 80 Mbps. This affects almost every internet-connected device in my home. If you have any suggestions or solutions, it would be greatly appreciated!

Your internet usage is being heavily utilized. For best results, wait until others are not using the network. Consider limiting download speeds for your app.

Your router has Quality of Service features. You might want to turn it on to give priority to important data instead of just downloads.

He noticed my gaming setup was generating excessive data traffic, which might be overwhelming the network. Suddenly, it seems like the flood has intensified.

It's possible the download speed was restricted in the launcher's configuration and was cleared after you reinstalled it.
