Okay, I have had this kind of problem several times and here are the steps I go through to attempt to recover (I should warn you that it is not always recoverable), you have already done some of these but I will go through my steps... 1) Attempt to load a previous save that has the same mods applied (i.e., I save every so often so I will attempt to load my just previous save to see if that one works). Sometimes a save will be corrupted w/o the game itself being corrupted. Assuming this does not work... 2) Attempt to start a new game with the same mods applied, if it starts without CDT then it is probably NOT the mod load but probably something with the actual environment of the save. 3) Re-run FINIS if you are using it to make sure that your animation's haven't become corrupt, this is often the point where things get better. If things are still not working with the save you want to run... 4) Re-run LOOT (you are using LOOT right?) to make sure that you haven't inadvertently reordered your plugins - both steam and Bethesda's mod handlers are really nasty about reordering your plugins without regard to what is really needed. I strongly recommend Nexis Mod Manager (NMM) or Mod Organizer if you are not using one of them already. If this doesn't work... 5) Run a no mods version of skyrim - if you are using NMM or Mod Organizer this is as easy as starting the game from the steam interface, otherwise you need to uninstall all of your mods. Now it is highly likely that your modded game will not start from an unmodded skyrim in fact in most cases I would expect either many error messages or a CDT here if you try to load it. However what you are testing is will it start a new game if it will then you game is still working and you don't need to re-install from steam. 6) At this point one or more of your mods are causing conflicts, which is a whole different list of steps. Basically back our mods you can live without until you find a subset that works, then slowly add mods back in (one at a time) until your game will run. Good luck, I often get to #3 or #4 and give up, start a new set of mods that are not causing a problem, start a new game and start over - but using Mod Organizer it is easy to do so I don't have an issue with that!
