Hey, I'm facing some issues with Fallout. After reinstalling it on a mechanical drive, the loading times are still really slow—especially during transitions from inside a building back outside, which can take about three minutes. I've updated the Nvidia driver and turned off cloud saves, but the problem persists. I'm considering moving it to an SSD, though I think there might be another reason. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It probably stems from the mechanical drive. They tend to be slow and wasteful for game loading times. Swapping it for an SSD would make a big difference.

Fallout 4’s loading times aren’t determined by HDD or SSD speeds. I’m running it on an HDD, SATA SSD, and 970 EVO drive at once. The process ends when VRAM is fully loaded. You can verify this using MSI Afterburner.
