They likely transmit several videos to the server for processing via ME. I’d also appreciate understanding their goals better.

It wouldn't be very engaging. It's just a Watch Folder for Adobe Media Encoder configured on a network of several machines. The contents shown come from the 36-Core machine. To see what matters, follow the short series about that machine.

And will the watch folder connect via SMB, or will they rely on an iSCSI target from the new SSD storage server? Perhaps Linus will acquire a 40GbE CNA and implement FCoE... who knows! I’m also focused on all the other details, no matter how soon they arrive for me.
