Displaying LLDP neighbors reveals the hostname of the connected peer. Viewing LLDP details provides the interface specs and domain name plus its hostname on the opposite side when set up. Additional information is also available.

The tool requires proper configuration and device support. Make sure LLDP is activated on the target devices before running the command.

Yes, the lldp must be executed on both sides simultaneously.
