Hello, little thing that worries me a little but not too much... I recently finished my first build and everything seems to be going really well: the games are wow, everything is very fast, the temperatures are good, etc. But every time my computer is turned off and I turn it on, it remains 45 seconds with the EZ debug on (red CPU and yellow DRAM)... finally turning on without problems afterwards. Every time I turn it on it does this... yet everything is superb with the performance of the PC. I read online that it was normal for my motherboard to do this but I really want to confirm, I have an MSI B650 Tomahawk WIFI with a ryzen 5 7600x with 32g of RAM.
Thank you for your answers!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! AM5 does require a lengthy POST process. Could you share the BIOS version you're using for your motherboard? Do you have a link to your RAM setup details for the build? Which RAM slots are being filled on this board? How is the processor being cooled?

I own an MSI B650 Tomahawk equipped with a 7700X and G.SKILL Flare X5 DDR5-6000 CL32 (AMD) 2x 16 GB RAM.
Boot times remain stable, ranging from 30 seconds without EXPO to 50–60 seconds with EXPO enabled.

"Memory training" requires some time to configure BIOS for XMP/EXPO settings. It's not just about your mainboard; verify the BIOS version as well. This issue often affected all Ryzen 7000 series, and most manufacturers addressed it via BIOS updates. A setting in BIOS, such as "Memory retention," can assist with POST speeds.
