Verify the DNS Server's directory. If authorized, review its entries.

But I'm dealing with more than 500 VMs and need to find a solution. Nslookup seemed like a start, but it's not feasible here. No access to the DNS server, only limited network capabilities. I can set up the desktop but can't go further. I have admin privileges on the local machine, but not domain-level access.

Besides checking if you can connect to the router, I’m not familiar with settings for locating network details. I know Avast offers a scan feature that shows IP addresses, but its coverage is limited and it might struggle with large networks. It seems the router could be something like a PF-Sense rack unit.

Check if devices share the same network range or are spread out. A script can parse IPs and organize them accordingly.

You received an email with unclear instructions about handling IPs and hostnames from your Excel file. The message seems mixed up and was intended for a group.

Do you have the DNS records available, and are they being checked against that list? Which environment is hosting the DNS server?

It is a Windows based DNS server(s). I solved it now because I went and spoke to a manager and got given the access I should have from the beginning.
