LinuxSteam functions on Arch Linux via AUR but not through Flatpak.
I'm using Arch Linux on a mid-2010 13-inch MacBook Pro. When I launch Steam via the terminal (mainly without the native runtime), the output shows Steam is running on version 4.16.13-2-ARCH with STEAM_RUNTIME enabled automatically. During setup, the breakpad exception handler was installed for appid(steam)/version(0) but it just hangs without any window or action. I accepted the terms when it first prompted. I have both 32-bit and 64-bit NVIDIA drivers installed, and I've tried removing .steam and ~/.local/Steam files.
Checked the Arch Wiki at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Steam
Don't require any AUR installations. Refer to the section in the Wiki article mentioned by EPENEX for details. What have you actually added? I currently have: $ pacman -Qs steam local/sl 5.02-5 Steam Locomotive appears across your terminal when you type "sl" as intended, not "ls". local/steam 1.0.0.54-3 Valve's digital software delivery system local/steam-native-runtime 1.0.0.54-5 A native alternative for the Steam runtime—native-runtime isn't essential, though certain games may function better with native libraries. For extra practice, I've enabled "sl" to help avoid careless typing; it's unrelated to Steam.
