I successfully dual-booted my main PC, and it functions properly. What issues have others encountered?

I support LuBuntu. Note: it's a popular choice among Linux users. Most folks agree Ubuntu is ideal for newcomers, though it works well for those with more experience. Plus, Lubuntu feels quite similar to Windows XP, and based on my previous discussions, I still love Windows XP the most!

I encountered a USB 3+ drive issue where Rufus caused permanent damage. The device now appears as 2704 PRAM even though it was brand new, and the memory controller became corrupted.

You experienced this on a 32GB USB 3.0 flash drive, though it didn't occur in your case. It's worth noting that this could happen, so be cautious. Using tools like gparted to create a new table might not work if the drive is damaged or corrupted.

It relies on the visual you select and the technique, but what I did was after Rufus finished.

It was noticeably sluggish in almost any activity I attempted, especially when using Android on my phone. There were frequent interruptions with no clear purpose. Since it was a fresh installation, I wasn’t concerned about malware, but the overall experience was far from satisfying. It simply didn’t compare to my preferred Linux Lite 3.0.
