Hey everyone! Yesterday I tried installing SteamOS on my PC, and it worked fine. But my Wi-Fi wasn’t connecting, and I couldn’t find my Root password. I considered switching to Ubuntu 17.04, but even after testing various drivers, nothing helped... Any advice would be great! I’m not sure if it matters, but I have an i3-6100, a GTX 1050 Ti, and 16 GB RAM. Thanks!

You don’t recognize your root password since Ubuntu doesn’t have a root account. Use sudo together with your user password to perform root operations. If you mention having a Wi-Fi issue but excluding it from the list, identify your Wi-Fi network by checking its MAC address with lsusb or lspci. Find the correct network in the Debian wiki to ensure it works.
