I'm facing issues printing from my Zebra ZC300 card printer using CachyOS. The driver I installed is for Ubuntu, which is outdated, and it doesn't seem to work properly on systemd. The printer shows up in cups but fails to print with no other errors except a stopped "Filter failed" message. Zebra has advised that manual steps like adding the printer via sudo lpadmin are necessary, but I haven't succeeded. I'm unsure how to proceed further.

There's a 2024 driver for Win-OS here: click . In the early days of Linux, printer ppd files had to be extracted from the Win-OS drivers. I recall there was a a tool for that. You may want to try that route, but it may not work.
