I'm considering moving to Linux at work and am curious about the differences between Unbuntu and Mint. Are their features quite alike, or does one stand out over the other?

Both are Debian-based systems. Ubuntu seems the most straightforward for beginners. The interface looks more familiar, and the app store is quite appealing. Additional package managers are also available.

I understand, you're using Ubuntu 18.04 with an extra hard drive and have Windows 10 installed. You're considering trying Mint to compare experiences. Let me know if you need help with that!

I’m currently using Mint and find it more appealing than Ubuntu, though much depends on individual tastes. Linux’s strength lies in the ability to tailor other distributions to suit your needs.
