The computer specifications are quite outdated. Most older models were constrained by slow, failing hard drives. If you have a recent CPU like a Core 2 Duo and at least 2GB of RAM, it’s worth keeping. I still run older Thinkpads such as the X200 and X201, but with modern storage solutions—replacing the 10-year-old HDDs with new SSDs. These setups perform exceptionally well, especially when used with a lightweight Linux distribution.
