I'm curious about which games actually work well on Linux since I'm thinking about switching from Windows. Some of the titles I usually play include League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, TERA, World of Warcraft, and single-player games like GTA V and Fallout 3.

CS:GO should work directly, and you might be able to play Fallout 3 on PlayOnLinux using WINE. I've tested various methods, but crashes are common for League of Legends, and most of the client content appears blank except for the menu. TERA is uncertain since it's newer, so checking WINE forums could help you find solutions for the games you want.

LOU should function via WINE according to this manual. It appears to operate on Arch, though it may have stopped working after a recent update. Adjustments I discovered for Arch often translate to Mint successfully, meaning Ubuntu-based systems should be covered too. CS:GO has native Linux compatibility and is available in the Steam store. TERA should work with WINE, but many users are experiencing significant UI delays. Dualboot is suggested for WoW, while GTA V runs well on WINE in a Linux environment—though no official support is expected soon. One video shows someone playing on a laptop with Ubuntu, but the description implies streaming rather than local play. Fallout 3 functions under WINE, though some YouTube clips report audio problems and odd visuals.
