I'm working on assembling a Wi-Fi router. I previously built one using Debian on a PC with an embedded board. Now I need assistance picking a suitable Wi-Fi adapter for Linux. I have two computers—one Intel NUC and another older AMD A4 CPU. I'm considering the advantages and disadvantages of each but want advice on selecting a good adapter. There will be two computers, two TVs, and three phones connected to it. The space is small, with the modem and garage less than 10 meters away from any device.

I’m thinking about purchasing an Intel 9260. It seems to offer everything I need and is relatively affordable.
