Struggling with Linux Mint or Ubuntu on my HP Pavilion. Started in compatibility mode to get it running. Once enabled the latest nVidia driver, it boots but shows a hardware acceleration error. Basic tasks like Firefox with one tab use about 50-80% CPU and cause fans to spin fast. External monitors aren’t detected. BIOS is up to date. I heard Ryzen 3000 users faced similar problems at launch—anyone else has tried Linux on a Ryzen 4000h?
