Linus, you're asking why I didn't compare it to Minecraft?
I've watched many Linux tutorials featuring benchmarks, but I haven't tried using Minecraft for testing. Even though it's not a highly technical game, it can be demanding when mods or shaders are added. Why don’t you run a benchmark?
Shaders and mods pose challenges for "Controlled" testing. Standard Minecraft performance remains solid, but modded versions often lag significantly.
Benchmarking Minecraft truly means playing it base, without any mods, since testing vanilla is unnecessary. It performs well across all systems—like achieving over 80 FPS on an Intel HD 4000 recently. Mods introduce too much variability and complexity for a consistent evaluation.
