I own a network with several machines using various Windows versions from XP to 10. The issue is that devices running Windows 7 or higher can read and write, but XP users cannot. We rely on Noritosis photo printers, so upgrading XP isn't feasible. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this? I've already verified the network name; everything appears to be working properly. The public-facing network location is set correctly.

It seems the previous setup didn't function as expected. The exact error isn't specified, but it likely involves connectivity or synchronization problems. A centralized file server is being considered to address peer-to-peer challenges.

It seems like you're suggesting keeping everything on one machine and connecting via SSH or Samba for access.
