They shouldn't trigger those problems. When both are set to auto, they'll try to locate the quietest channel available.

On this task, focus on setting up: default gateway at 192.168.1.1, DNS1 at 192.168.1.1, DNS2 at 1.1.1.1 or another trusted public DNS near you. Also, verify that the suggested WiFi configurations are active on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz devices (such as WPA2/AES).
